“A Goebbels-style lie”: Andranik Tevanyan sends audio message from penitentiary

Andranik Tevanyan, leader of the Mother Armenia party, sent an audio message from prison.

“During the pre-election period, citizen Nikol P. voiced a Goebbels-style lie from the rally podium and illegally ordered a criminal case to be opened against me. And I was arrested…,” Tevanyan’s message says.

According to him, the case, fabricated on the basis of this “Goebbels-style lie,” has already been sent to court. “The first hearing is scheduled for September 8. I would like to draw your attention to the fact that in the indictment submitted to the court, the aforementioned charges are absent due to lack of evidence…,” the audio message says.
