Pashinyan is injecting his electorate with a new drug by saying, “look, we arrested Kocharyan”: Khachatryan

Everyone, including members of the ruling “Civil Contract” party (“ГД”), understands that the arrest of Robert Kocharyan, second President of Armenia, has nothing to do with property or “returning stolen assets.” All of this is happening in a purely political and geopolitical context. This was stated by Sevak Khachatryan, deputy from the “Armenia” bloc, at a press conference on the case of Robert Kocharyan.

According to him, the authorities are trying to present Kocharyan’s arrest as a political message to their electorate.

“Nikol Pashinyan is simply trying to please his electorate. In this way, Pashinyan is injecting his electorate with a new drug, trying to say: wait a little, look, we arrested Robert Kocharyan,” Khachatryan noted.
