Court rulings must be enforced immediately: Khamoyan on the sealing of Olympavan

The court authorized an investigator to conduct a one-time search in the Olympavan case, but in the process the search turned into a sealing of the premises, Agnesa Khamoyan, an MP from the Armenia faction, said in the National Assembly while addressing questions to Artur Poghosyan, Chairman of the Investigative Committee.

“The form changed, which means you exceeded your powers,” she said.

According to her, the sealing has damaged the property of many people.

“State bodies must exercise only the powers vested in them by law. The fact of an appeal and its timeline have nothing to do with enforcing the ruling of the court of first instance. This is an immediate and mandatory requirement for everyone,” Khamoyan said.
