Armenian boxers win 6 medals at international tournament

The Armenian youth boxing team headed by Karen Aghamalyan won 6 medals at the Nikolay Pavlyukov International Tournament in Anapa, Russia. Rudolf Garboyan knocked out Russia’s Artur Nagapetyan in the final of the 51kg category, and Rudolf’s brother, Ruben Garboyan, lost by technical knockout to another Armenian from Russia Andrey Peglivanyan in the final of the 54kg category. In the team competition, the Armenian national team ranked second behind only Russia.
