“5 Dreamers and a Horse” by Aren Malakyan and Vahagn Khachatryan takes top prize at international competition

The film “5 Dreamers and a Horse” directed by Aren Malakyan and Vahagn Khachatryan won the top prize at the Italian PerSo-Perugia Social Film Festival, the National Film Center of Armenia reported.

The jury noted that in order to show the Armenian society of different generations, this film presents a story that is both ironic and tender, reflecting its realistic and imaginary sides, the possibilities of cinematic images through achieving the desired connection between reality and imagination.

The film tells about five protagonists of different generations, each of whom has their own dream.
