The meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to be held in Moscow on Wednesday is necessary and expected by both sides, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
“A very busy working schedule of the head of state continues. Today, the day is mainly devoted to the subject of Eurasian integration. The meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council will begin in Moscow in the afternoon. It will traditionally be held in a narrow format. In an expanded format, the participants will definitely be photographed together, take a so-called family photo.
It is noteworthy that the presidents of Uzbekistan and Cuba will be present as observers at this meeting, which is generally timed to coincide with the tenth anniversary of the signing of the EurAsEC treaty,” Peskov said.
