Russia seeks to develop full and friendly ties with the Armenian people – Zakharova

Russia considers the protests in Yerevan the country’s domestic matter and seeks to develop friendly relations, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said in a press briefing on Thursday.

“We consider the political processes in Armenia the country’s domestic matter,” she said.

“For our part, we seek to develop full and friendly ties with the Armenian people. These ties manifest themselves, among other things, in the form of aid, as I have already mentioned today—a real fraternal help that we provide as soon as a neighboring country is in trouble,” Zakharova stressed.
