If Trump is elected, Armenia will be trapped: David Harutyunyan

“Before US Vice President Kamala Harris put forward her candidacy as a candidate, Donald Trump, the former US president, the Republican presidential candidate, was slightly higher in all polls lately. And the Democrats, in my opinion, needed a trampoline, and now they are conducting polls with the help of some private organizations, which say that such a percentage supports the Democrats and ensures that the Democrats win the elections,” Harutyunyan said.

According to our interlocutor, if the Republicans are elected, Armenia will be even more trapped.

“Armenian leader Nikol Pashinyan is constantly driving himself into a trap, further aggravating and complicating the situation. Elections will be held in the United States in November. If the Republicans are elected under the leadership of Trump, in my opinion, all the hopes, plans, agreements that Armenia has with the United States as a state will be completely crossed out and they will say: Let’s understand once again what you want. If the Republicans are elected, the US policy towards the entire region and, possibly, the planet Earth will change.

The United States is an institutional state, they have a direction on some important issues, and they are moving in this direction, but on regional issues, the opinions of Republicans and Democrats differ. In addition, the policy towards Russia will also change, and Armenia will be trapped if Republicans are elected,” concluded our interlocutor.
