The Judicial Council of the City of Buenos Aires signed a convention on cooperation with the Armenian National Council for the Defense of Human Rights to “guarantee the cooperation of the two institutions in accordance with their needs and common goals.”

The signing of the convention took place at the organization’s headquarters with Council President Karina Leguizamón, Counselor Lorena Clienti, President of the Armenian National Council of South America, Alfonso José Tabakian, and director Aram Mouratian.

“This convention is fundamental not only for the deepening of spheres of institutional cooperation but also for the opportunity to develop specific strategies in such important areas as justice and human rights,” Mouratian told Diario Armenia.

“The objective of the agreement is to establish a general basis for coordination and collaboration under which the Council and the Foundation will carry out actions to enhance mutual complementarity and cooperation that contribute to institutional development,” the organization said in a statement. Counselor Lorena Clienti and Director of Relations with Disposable Assets and Agreements Gonzalo Pajón were appointed responsible for monitoring and execution of the agreement.
