Chelsea Clinton joins Aurora Prize selection committee

The press center of the Aurora Humanitarian Initiative announced that Chelsea Clinton, the daughter of American politicians Bill and Hillary Clinton, has joined the Aurora Prize selection committee. The commission is headed by Lord Ara Darzi, a British surgeon, academic and politician of Armenian origin.

The Aurora International Humanitarian Initiative was established in 2015 by former Nagorno-Karabakh Minister Ruben Vardanyan and philanthropists Vartan Gregorian and Noubar Afeyan. The award is presented on behalf of all survivors of the Armenian Genocide and in gratitude to their saviors. The winner of the award receives $1 million and the opportunity to pass the baton of kindness by supporting organizations that help those in need.
