Film by cinematographer Arseni Khachaturan earns prize in Venice

The film April by Georgian director Dea Kulumbegashvili earned the Special Jury Prize of the 81st Venice International Film Festival, which was held August 28–September 7. The film was shot by cinematographer Arseni Khachaturan.

Arseni Khachaturan is one of the most promising young cinematographers. He worked on Sam Levinson’s The Idol, Luca Guadagnino’s Bones and All, and Dea Kulumbegashvili’s Beginning.
