Armenian journalists to again take part in Lithuanian football tournament

The Armenian Journalists’ National Football Team will take part in the traditional international tournament for the eighth time in the Lithuanian city of Druskininkai from September 13-15. This year, 10 journalistic teams from Armenia, Belarus, Latvia, Georgia, Poland, Egypt, and Hungary will participate in the event, which is being held for the 20th time.

They will be joined by several teams representing different Lithuanian cities. All teams will compete against each other; each team will play 8 matches per day. The organizer of the traditional football tournament is the Lithuanian Union of Journalists.

Armenian journalists are the reigning champions of this tournament, and before that, they took the 2nd place twice and the 3rd place three times.
