“A person, who spreads the most disgusting things about people through fakes, speaks from here and provokes”: Aram Vardevanyan

Double standards have been one of the main causes of the deep divide in Armenia, Aram Vardevanyan, deputy speaker, said at a National Assembly session.

“If the presiding officer at the National Assembly session starts applying objective standards instead of double standards, no tension will arise,” Vardevanyan said.

According to him, it is unacceptable that words directed at MPs from the Strong Armenia party are assessed, while insults and abusive language spread for many years through fakes against various individuals go without an appropriate response.

“When colleagues talk about an MP from the Strong Armenia faction but fail to notice a person known for spreading fakes, abusive language and the most disgusting things for years, who comes here to speak only to provoke and take pleasure in it, and no assessment is given to this,” he noted.
