“All political forces defending national interests will be declared traitors”: Andranik Tevanian

Turkish-Azerbaijani circles are demanding the “Ukrainization” of Armenia so that the Turkic world may play a dominant role in the South Caucasus. That is what Andranik Tevanian, leader of the Mother Armenia party, stated at a press conference, going on to present in detail other demands put to Armenia by the aforementioned circles.

“The demands of Turkish-Azerbaijani and Western globalist circles toward Armenia are as follows: the handover of the ‘Zangezur Corridor,’ the settlement of Azerbaijanis in the Republic of Armenia, the surrender of at least three Armenian territories situated at key road junctions, the closure of the nuclear power plant, the destruction of the Republic of Armenia’s mining industry, and the withdrawal of the Russian 102nd Military Base located in Gyumri. On top of all this, they are demanding Armenia’s withdrawal from the CSTO and the EAEU, and its Ukrainization, so that the Turkic world gains the opportunity to play a dominant role in the South Caucasus,” Tevanian noted.

According to the party leader, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan has signed on to this monstrous plan, and as a result all political forces defending national interests will be declared traitors.

“The attacks of the authorities cannot have any effect on us. Since its founding, Mother Armenia has stood for the consolidation of the opposition field. We have always shown that positions and mandates are of no concern to us, and we will do everything in our power to ensure that the Republic of Armenia does not share the fate of Artsakh,” Tevanian stressed.
