Alpha News is expanding its media presence by launching broadcasts of its channel in Persian. The new platform will feature news bulletins, analysis, and exclusive content tailored to a Persian-speaking audience.
On this topic, Alpha News spoke with Milena Danielyan, the journalist and host of Alpha Persian. According to her, until now, news about Armenia has reached the Persian-speaking world through third parties, often through propaganda machines of unfriendly countries that shaped Armenia’s image in line with their own interests.
“Today we have the opportunity to shape our own agenda, to present Armenia’s voice, its interests, and its perspective on regional issues. This, in fact, corresponds to Armenia’s state interests and is intended to become the country’s voice in the Persian-speaking world,” Danielyan noted.
Pouya Hosseini, the founder of the Center for the Development of Armenian-Iranian Strategic Cooperation, noted that after the war in Artsakh, Iranian interest in Armenia has increased, and one of the current concerns is the TRIPP project.
“The war involving Israel, the United States, and Iran shows that the presence of the United States in the region is dangerous. Iran now demands that all US representations leave the region, and this could also affect the TRIPP project,” Hosseini concluded.
