Ankara highly values the negotiation process between Yerevan and Baku: speaker of the Turkish Parliament

Turkey highly values the negotiation process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as the progress achieved in the peace talks. This was stated by Numan Kurtulmush, speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, at the 20th session of the Parliamentary Union of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation in Baku.

According to him, Ankara expects a final peace to be reached between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

“I hope that a lasting and sincere peace will be established between Armenia and Azerbaijan in the region. The South Caucasus will become a region of peace, tranquility, and stability,” Kurtulmush said.
