Anthony Sarkesian named MVP of European youth basketball championship

Anthony Sarkesian was named Most Valuable Player of the European Youth Basketball Championship (Division C). He led Armenia’s national team to the podium without losing a single game.

Sarkesian dominated throughout the tournament, averaging 21 points, 17.8 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game. He capped off his outstanding week with another standout performance in the final, which secured Armenia its first Division C championship title since 2017.

Anthony Sarkesian is a 196 cm forward from Chaminade College Preparatory in Los Angeles.
