Arman Adamian takes bronze at World Judo Championship

Arman Adamian secured a bronze medal in the 100 kg category at the 2025 World Judo Championships held in Budapest, Hungary. In the decisive match for third place, he confidently defeated the UAE’s Dzhafar Kostoev with a clean ippon victory.
Earlier, Adamian lost in the semifinals to Matvey Kanikovskiy, who eventually became the world champion. On his way to the medal, Arman also defeated one of the tournament favorites, Azerbaijan’s Zelim Kotsoiev.
This marks the second World Championship medal of his career—his first was gold in 2023.
