Armenian business accounts for 2.6 percent of foreign companies in Russia

Armenian business accounts for less than three percent of the number of companies with foreign participation in Russia, according to a study by Rusprofile, a counterparty verification service, conducted for RIA Novosti.
“There are currently 1,736 companies registered by founders from Armenia operating in Russia. They account for a 2.6 percent share of the total number of organizations with foreign participation,” the analysts reported.
From 2021 to 2025, the number of such enterprises increased by a factor of 2.3. For comparison, as of December 31, 2021, 518 companies with founders from the Transcaucasian country had been opened in Russia, of which 257 are still operating today.
Armenian entrepreneurs are most often involved in:
🔹 wholesale and retail trade;
🔹 construction of buildings and roads;
🔹 road freight transport;
🔹 restaurants and food delivery;
🔹 real estate rental and management;
🔹 dental practice.
