Armenians in Moscow and other Russian cities celebrate Vardavar

All parishes of the Russian and Nor Nakhichevan Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church (AAC) solemnly celebrated Vardavar, the Feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord, on Sunday, July 12.

Holy Liturgy was held in all Armenian churches, after which a public celebration took place featuring songs, dancing, and water dousing.

Vardavar was also celebrated at the Surb Hakob Church in Simferopol, as well as in Astrakhan, Armavir, Novorossiysk, Krasnodar, and other Russian cities.
