Armenians of Transylvania present culture in Budapest
On October 26-27, the Budapest Cultural House hosted a series of cultural events organized by the Armenians of Transylvania, Armenian Autonomy in Hungary and Armenian Autonomy in Romania.
On October 26, cultural groups of the Romanian-Armenian community presented various performances. A film on the history of the Romanian-Armenian community was screened as well.
The dance troupe of the Armenian community of Bucharest gave a concert.
In his opening remarks, Armenian Ambassador to Hungary Ashot Smbatyan underscored the importance of joint events of the Armenians of Transylvania and thanked the representatives of the Armenian community of Romania for their contribution to the preservation of performance art and Armenian culture.
