Untold Story: Marshal Bagramyan

Alpha Media House, in cooperation with the Heritage and Progress Foundation and the Armenian Studies Development and Support Foundation “ANIV,” launches a historical podcast titled Untold Story.

The Untold Story podcast explores the lives and achievements of prominent figures from the Armenian nation. In the first episode of Alpha Media House’s new project, you will learn about how General—later Marshal—Ivan Bagramyan found himself at the heart of the Kiev catastrophe of 1941, one of the most tragic episodes of the Great Patriotic War.

The episode also recounts how he managed to escape from the Kiev cauldron, where 450,000 people were killed or captured. The details of this historical episode were shared with us by Yevgeny Gurinov, a candidate of historical sciences, project coordinator of the ANIV Foundation, and one of the authors of the book “Marshal Bagramyan.”
