Armenia’s parliamentary elections were accompanied by unprecedented pressure on the opposition and interference from the West. This was stated by Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova on Sputnik radio.
Zakharova also noted that the elections took place amid “unprecedented Western interference.”
“Unprecedented pressure on the opposition. On one hand, this is what was clearly being implemented as a concept of power… And the interference from the West is, in my view, equally unprecedented for this region in the context of electoral processes,” she said.
