Avetik Chalabyan charged with allegedly obstructing the exercise of voting rights: lawyer

Avetik Chalabyan, co-founder of the civic initiative “HayaQve,” has been charged with allegedly obstructing the exercise of voters’ rights. This was reported by his lawyer Varazdat Harutyunyan.

Chalabyan has pleaded not guilty to the charge, describing it as a lie “from start to finish.”

He is currently at the Kentron District Court of General Jurisdiction, where a motion for his arrest is being heard.
