Azerbaijani Embassy in Russia pressures local library to cancel ‘Artsakh in Faces’ photo exhibition
The Azerbaijani Embassy in Russia tried to put pressure on the library’s management, demanding to cancel a photo exhibition ‘Artsakh in Faces’.
These days, the largest library in the south of Russia hosts a photo exhibition by Armenian photographer Levon Osepyan called ‘Artsakh in Faces’.
According to the telegram channel of the Union of Armenians of Russia, the Azerbaijani Embassy in Russia tried to put pressure on the library management to cancel the exhibition.
In response, the embassy was reportedly reminded that “the library is not in Azerbaijan, but in the Russian Federation, in Rostov-on-Don, a city where Armenians have lived for almost 300 years—since its foundation—and Baku has no right to dictate which events to hold or not to hold in the city library.”
