Aram Khachaturian’s legendary ‘Saber Dance’ recreated at Victory Parade in Russia’s Perm

The legendary “Saber Dance” by renowned Armenian and Soviet composer and conductor Aram Khachaturian was recreated by artists of the Opera and Ballet Theater on May 9 at the Victory Parade in Perm, Russia.
Khachaturian composed his famous “Saber Dance” in Molotov during the Great Patriotic War. Over time, the piece became a major hit on jukeboxes in the United States, with millions of copies of its recordings circulating worldwide. In 2018, a film was even made about the composition.
