Boxer Baregham Harutyunyan secures bronze medal at international tournament

Baregham Harutyunyan, the 51kg European Cup bronze medalist, won the quarterfinals of the 28th Algirdas Socikas International Boxing Tournament in Lithuania and secured at least a bronze medal.

In the quarterfinals, the Armenian boxer fought Ireland’s Dos Santos Clepson and defeated him with a great lead. The third round ended with Harutyunyan’s 5-0 win.

In the semifinals, Harutyunyan will face Angola’s Mohammed Hamza. 

On March 22, Harutyun Hakobkokhyan (71 kg) will also enter the ring.
