“Cilicia” performed by Aram I and the clergy in St. Peter’s Square at the Vatican

Following the conclusion of his official visit to the Vatican, Aram I, Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia, attended the weekly audience with the faithful at St. Peter’s Square alongside Pope Leo XIV. The announcement was made by the Cilician Catholicosate.

“This fraternal visit is an important opportunity to strengthen the bonds that already exist, as we continue to draw closer to the full unity of our churches,” the Pope said in his address.

The Pontiff and Aram I then exchanged warm wishes and farewells in the presence of the faithful. To close the gathering, Aram I and the clergy of the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia performed the song “Cilicia.”
