Election results have caused great disappointment in the Diaspora: Levon Baronyan
In recent months, the Diaspora has been living in anticipation that the pro-Turkish processes in Armenia would finally come to an end. This was stated in a conversation with Alpha News by Levon Baronyan, editor-in-chief of the newspaper Orakarg and public figure.
“A significant part of the Diaspora disagrees with the policy being pursued by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s administration. This concerns relations with Turkey, the denial of the Armenian Genocide, and the policy being conducted on the issue of Artsakh,” Baronyan noted.
He also emphasized that the Diaspora’s disappointment is linked to the outcome of the recent parliamentary elections in Armenia.
“Observing the election results, in which Nikol Pashinyan is able to form a government having received less than 50% of the votes, the Diaspora feels an even greater sense of disappointment,” Levon Baronyan said.
