Erik Israyelyan knocks out Alex Gagnon at Montreal boxing event

Twenty-year-old Armenian boxer Erik Israyelyan (2-0) delivered a spectacular knockout victory against Canadian fighter Alex Gagnon (0-3-1) in his second professional bout at a boxing event in Montreal.

This was the second early victory in the career of Israyelyan, who signed a contract with the famous Canadian promotion Eye of The Tiger in early 2025. Erik has already fought twice and convincingly won both matches.

Before turning professional, Israyelyan enjoyed tremendous success in the amateur ring, winning both the World and European Youth Championships as part of the Armenian national team.
