First teaser released for Andy Serkis’ ‘Animal Farm’

The first teaser for Animal Farm, an animated film directed by British actor and film director of Armenian origin Andy Serkis, has been released. The film, based on George Orwell’s classic novel, follows a group of farm animals who rebel against their human owner. After the uprising, power shifts to the pigs, led by Napoleon, voiced by Seth Rogen.

Andy Serkis has been working on the project since 2011. The script was written by Nicholas Stoller (The Muppets). The film had its successful premiere on June 9 at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival and is set for a wide release on July 11.
