For the first time in Armenia’s history, such a large number of forces are contesting election results: Gohar Meloyan

An unprecedented situation has arisen for the first time in Armenia’s history, with so many political forces approaching the Constitutional Court to contest election results. Gohar Meloyan, member of the Strong Armenia party, said this outside the court building.

“At this moment, petitions submitted by seven political forces are being considered, all of them are based on a demand to declare the elections invalid, and we have invoked all three grounds for invalidity,” Gohar Meloyan noted.

According to her, the petitions are currently at the review stage.
