Georgia unconditionally supports Armenia’s territorial integrity, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said during a joint briefing with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Yerevan.

Kobakhidze stressed Georgia’s readiness to contribute to peace and stability in the South Caucasus region. He spoke about the centuries-old fraternal relations between the Armenian and Georgian peoples. Thanking Armenia for supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia, Kobakhidze expressed Georgia’s unconditional support for Armenia’s territorial integrity.

According to him, relations between the countries are dynamically developing.

The sides discussed cooperation in different spheres, as well as regional developments, and underscored the importance of joint efforts to tackle challenges.

According to Kobakhidze, Georgia promotes peace and stability in the South Caucasus and hopes that Armenia and Azerbaijan will sign a peace agreement. For its part, Georgia is ready to contribute to peace and stability in the region.
