Government makes another mess of foreign trade: Artur Khachatryan

Artur Khachatryan, Secretary of the Armenia faction, said in the National Assembly that the Armenian government has once again made a mess of things.

“A Ministry of Foreign Trade was created to regulate foreign trade, yet it is the Minister of Economy who reports. If the Minister of Economy has to report on the agreement with the United Arab Emirates and answer questions on foreign trade statistics, then why was the Ministry of Foreign Trade created?” the MP asked in bewilderment.

According to him, the authorities have failed to clearly divide responsibilities among government agencies.
