Heavy rains caused widespread flooding in Istanbul, Turkey’s largest city. Roads, homes and urban infrastructure were submerged as a result of the storm.
Media reports say two people died, including a 14-year-old teenager. The city has recorded 1,277 floods and 15 landslides, and emergency services have received more than 2,500 calls.
Classes at schools have been canceled and transport restrictions have been introduced because of the bad weather.
