House of Culture of Gai-Kodzor village hosts program celebrating Armenian dance

The House of Culture in Gai-Kodzor village in Russia hosted a special event dedicated to Armenian dances. The program was led by ballet master Galina Hovsepyan.

She told the participants about the origin and development of Armenian dance traditions and introduced the history and peculiarities of Armenian dances. The participants saw various Armenian dances and learned about their signature movements and musical accompaniment.

At the end of the program, the participants stood in a circle to perform the beloved traditional dance, Kochari.
