“How can I fraternize with the killer of my nephew?”: a resident on peace with Azerbaijan

During a poll on the prospect of a possible peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, a resident of Vayots Dzor said it was impossible.

“This is not peace, we all fought and will fight again, but peace is impossible under such conditions. How can I fraternize with someone who killed my nephew?” he said.

According to one of respondents, new border concessions and the possible handover of “enclaves” would push the country toward internal conflict.

“If a few more enclaves are handed over tomorrow, the opposition will mobilize and a civil war could break out, killing even more innocent people,” an Alpha News interlocutor said.
