It is hard to imagine how a 6-month budget could be discussed in half an hour, said Liana Manukyan, MP from the “Strong Armenia” faction, at a session of the National Assembly, expressing dissatisfaction with the limited time allocated for discussion.
“This, of course, has greatly upset our ruling-party deputies. This whole time, they have constantly complained about having to listen to these questions, about having to work for long hours. And you can see for yourselves right now, in this hall, just how much our ruling-party deputies like to work by their attendance. Yesterday, during the hour of statements, only 20 of 64 ruling-party deputies were present at the session,” she said.
