“If fish isn’t exported to Russia, it definitely won’t reach Europe”: protest participant

One of the Armenian fish farmers participating in the protest in front of the government building told journalists that fish roe is imported into Armenia from Europe in order to raise fish here.

“The feed also comes from Europe. We can’t compete with them. Do you think Norway will allow us to sell fish there? They left the Russian market, and only after that were we able to enter it and sell our fish. Now, if the fish isn’t exported to Russia, it definitely won’t go to Europe,” he noted.
