If Pashinyan stays in power, the people will feel the consequences of that choice: Robert Margaryan
If Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is re-elected, serious problems will arise in Armenian-Russian relations, political analyst Robert Margaryan said in a conversation with Alpha News.
According to the political analyst, these consequences will be felt most acutely in the economic sphere. “We are already seeing signs of these problems, especially in the economic sphere. And I am certain that the people will feel the consequences of this choice,” Margaryan said.
According to the political analyst, the current tensions are driven not only by the upcoming elections, but also by the accumulation of political problems over the past eight years. “This did not happen overnight. I believe this is the result of problems that have built up over eight years in the political sphere. You cannot, on the one hand, enjoy the privileges, and on the other, subject those same partners or structures to harsh criticism. A moment comes when you are asked to clarify where you want to be and in which direction you want to move,” he noted.
