Samvel Karapetyan, philanthropist and owner of Tashir Group, has spoken out against the Armenian authorities’ actions toward the Armenian Apostolic Church and the Catholicos of All Armenians.

When asked about his opinion as a member of the Armenian Church and philanthropist, Karapetyan said, “What opinion can I have when a small group of people, forgetting the Armenian history and millennia-old traditions of our Church, attacks it and the Armenian people? I have always stood by the Church and the people and will personally take part in defending our values. If the politicians fail, then we will participate in all this in our own way.”
