Safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz is possible exclusively via routes approved by the Islamic Republic of Iran. Several hours ago, without notice or coordination with Iran, certain entities announced a new route for vessel movement through the strait. This route is unacceptable and poses a serious danger.

To note, the only permitted routes for passage through the Strait of Hormuz remain those officially approved by the Islamic Republic of Iran. Any movement outside them is extremely dangerous and prohibited. We strongly warn against deviating from the prescribed routes.

Coordination of passage with the IRGC Navy is mandatory. Appropriate measures will be taken against vessels found in violation.
