‘It is a modern-day tragedy’, Baroness Cox visits Lachin corridor entrance

Baroness Caroline Cox, a member of the British House of Lords, visited the entrance of the Lachin Corridor, where the trucks loaded with humanitarian goods had been stranded for several months.

“Here we are in a very sad place. This is a road which connects Armenia to Nagorno-Karabakh. And behind me there are many trucks full of medical aid and food that are not allowed by Azerbaijan to go into Nagorno-Karabakh.

It is a very sad place. It is also quite a dangerous place. Because this is a border where Azerbaijan has been shooting Armenian people. It is a modern-day tragedy,” Caroline Cox said.
