ArtReview published the Power100 list, which included the 100 most influential people in the world. The secret committee consists of 40 people, whose members are representatives of different ethnicities.

This year’s top spot went to photographer and activist Nan Goldin, a fierce campaigner against the corporate interests responsible for the US opioid crisis.

Goldin’s works are currently exhibited at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, and her exhibition ‘Full Moon’ is being showcased at the Gagosian Gallery. Gagosian, in collaboration with the Fraenkel Gallery, began presenting the artist earlier this year.

The owner of the Gagosian Gallery chain, American-Armenian art dealer Larry Gagosian is in 12th place on the Power100 list.

This year, Gagosian presented works by Japanese artist Tetsuya Ishida and American photographer Francesca Woodman in the gallery.
