Lavrov to hold meetings with Armenian leadership on May 20-21

As previously reported by Alpha News, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will pay a working visit to Yerevan on May 20-21.
According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, Lavrov is scheduled to hold extensive negotiations with his Armenian counterpart, Ararat Mirzoyan. Talks with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and President Vahagn Khachaturian are also expected.
“The agenda includes discussion on a wide range of issues related to bilateral cooperation, interaction through Eurasian integration associations, and the coordination of positions on international platforms, particularly at the United Nations.
The Foreign Ministers will also exchange views on regional security issues, including the prospects for Armenian-Azerbaijani and Armenian-Turkish normalization processes. It is planned to sign the Plan of Inter-Ministerial Consultations for 2025-2026,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
