Yuri Ushakov, aide to the Russian president, reported that serious negotiations were held in Moscow with Armenian prime minister Nikol Pashinyan, during which they managed to “dot all the i’s.” According to him, Yerevan continues to adhere to a policy of “trying to have it both ways.”
“How long one can remain in such a position is hard to say,” Ushakov noted.
Earlier, at a meeting with Pashinyan, President Vladimir Putin emphasized that Russia would like to see pro-Russian political forces participating in Armenia’s domestic political life, including during the elections.
