Moscow ready to support Yerevan-Baku normalization, says Russian FM

Russia is ready to support normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan in all directions, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said during talks with his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan.

“We are ready to provide the necessary assistance to the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan in all directions to develop the trilateral agreements reached by the leaders of the three countries in 2020 and 2022,” the Russian foreign minister said.

Mirzoyan, in turn, noted that Armenia is ready to unblock all communications in the region. He said that Armenia tries to take into account Russia’s interests at international platforms and expressed hope for a reciprocal position from Moscow.
