Ordinary citizens suffer as a result of major enterprises closing: poll

Sooner or later, the current government of the RA will leave power. Then it will become clear who plundered how much, who owned what, and how much was appropriated. This opinion was expressed by a resident of the city of Abovyan during a poll, commenting on discussions about the plundering of the country.

The 75-year-old Abovyan resident recalled the bonuses paid to state officials, noting that the “fight against plunder” promised by the authorities has in fact turned into a new form of appropriation.

One poll participant expressed outrage at attempts to close major enterprises and redistribute property, noting that ordinary citizens are the ones who suffer most as a result.

“Now they’re condemning and attacking people who worked, invested, and created jobs their whole lives. As a result, specific jobs are being eliminated. The authorities are settling their own scores, but people suffer, thousands of people are left without work,” he noted.
