Pashinyan rejoices when Erdogan gives him ‘like’ — Levon Baronian
One does not need to be an expert in gestures to interpret Pashinyan’s body language during the meeting, said Levon Baronian, editor-in-chief of the Oragark newspaper, in an interview with Alpha News.
“There was a particularly notable moment: during the conversation, Erdogan made a ‘thumbs up’ gesture, and Pashinyan obediently lowered his head, accepting it with visible delight—Erdogan had given him a ‘like.’ There is no official information on what Aliyev and Pashinyan discussed, but I do not expect anything special. They are just stalling for time. The demands that Azerbaijan puts forward for signing a ‘peace agreement’ even the Pashinyan administration will not be able to provide, because sooner or later all this will become clear. So far, only a small part of the negotiations has been revealed to the people. Many of us believe that there are points in them that Pashinyan’s administration will avoid revealing in order to hold out until the next elections,” said Levon Baronian.
