At a meeting with the Armenian community in France, Nikol Pashinyan stated that all Armenian parties acted in accordance with the ideology of the ARF Dashnaktsutyun.
“I came to the conclusion that from the first day of the foundation of the Third Republic, we did not notice that there was only one party in Armenia, the ARF, and the country actually had the ideology of one party. The Pan-Armenian National Movement party thought that they were better Dashnaks than the real Dashnaks, the Civil Contract party thought that we were better Dashnaks than the Dashnaks themselves,” Pashinyan said.
Alpha News spoke about this topic with ARF “Nor Seround” Central Executive chairperson Njteh Karakavorian.
“When Pashinyan speaks, we get the impression that it is Aliyev speaking, since the theses he uses are no different from Aliyev’s statements. With his latest statement, Nikol Pashinyan once again gave the green light to the enemies to attack Armenia, and he again made new concessions. We completely and categorically reject any similarity, especially with the Civil Contract, which is a completely anti-national, anti-Armenian political structure that has lost its way in false, fabricated, and in many cases poisonous ideological currents. He was the one who said that he had no ‘isms’, wasn’t he? And now he has become a Dashnak?” he said.
According to him, being a member of ARF does not mean using the words “Ararat” and “Artsakh” in conversation.
“Being a member of Dashnaktsutyun is not that easy, it does not mean making romantic toasts and constantly using the words ‘Ararat’ and ‘Artsakh’. Being a member of Dashnaktsutyun, talking about the ARF means mixing blood, sweat, and tears on the difficult path of struggle,” Njteh Karakavorian noted.
